History
Jim Griffin assumed leadership of the company in 1963, fifty years after his father joined with his own father and brother to form the new family construction company. Over the years Jim has kept pace with the dynamic changes in the economy and construction industry in the Bay Area and has built and trained a strong team of leaders and craftsmen with traditions of service and high standards. Jim is a graduate of UC Berkeley, served as an officer in the US Navy, stays involved in industry and community activities while remaining active in the leadership of the company.
He has participated in several industries and community activities and served on the Board of Directors of the Construction Employers’ Association (CEA), the bargaining entity for Northern California Carpenters, the Ohlone College Foundation where he initiated the Business Leadership Council, and the Fremont Economic Development Advisory Commission (EDAC).
